How to use the SEO and GEO Audit Tool
- Enter a full public page URL in the Page URL field and click Run page audit.
- Read the three score cards — on-page SEO checks, GEO readiness signals, and page response — plus the overview counts of passed, review, and issue items.
- Work through the Recommended fixes panel first; it orders the most important problems by severity with plain-language guidance.
- Open the detailed sections (SEO and technical checks, AI search readiness, content, metadata) or use Copy summary and Download PDF to share the report.
Why it matters
Most ranking problems are technical and invisible: a missing canonical, an accidental noindex, images without alt text, or AI crawlers blocked in robots.txt. A page-level audit surfaces these in minutes, so fixes go to real problems instead of guesswork. The GEO layer matters now too — AI search cites pages it can parse, with clear entities, authors, and dates. Auditing both classic SEO and AI-readiness signals keeps a page visible in traditional results and in the answers AI systems generate.
SEO and GEO Audit Tool FAQs
Does this tool audit every page on a website?
No. It checks one public URL plus a few root-level files like robots.txt and sitemap.xml — it does not crawl your whole site. Run it on your most important pages one at a time, such as the homepage, key service pages, and top blog posts, to find the issues that matter most.
Is the score a Google ranking score?
No. It is a transparent, rule-based summary of the checks in the report — not a Google score, a ranking prediction, or a replacement for Search Console data. Use the score to track whether your fixes are landing, and use Search Console and real rankings to judge performance.
Can the tool audit pages behind a login?
No. It fetches a public URL from the server, so it cannot see private pages, logged-in sessions, or content that only appears after a JavaScript app runs in a browser. For gated pages, audit a public equivalent or test with the tools your logged-in users would see.
Are the GEO checks a guarantee of appearing in AI answers?
No. They highlight technical and content signals — entity schema, author and date fields, question headings, source links — that help automated systems interpret a page. They cannot guarantee crawling, citation, or visibility in AI answers, but pages with these signals are easier for AI systems to understand and reference.
